lifeSTYLE: CBN x Sassy City Chicks Fashion Bash

Shots, shopping, stalking, talking, rocking and blogging I spent Thirsty Thursday quenching my need for discounted summer goodies, refreshing cocktails and fashion-minded conversation at the Sassy City Chick Fashion Bash along with the Chicago Blogger Network. With our own blogging lounge and muscle (Thanks, Bodyguard!) it was a true VIP experience that allowed for ease of tweeting - and believe me with all the must have skirts, dresses, baubles and refreshments there was a lot to share!

I finally got to wear my new hi-lo hem dress from Style Stalker. I paired it with the woven leather Cayler Pumps by Report Signature, Michael Kors Madison Watch, Sienna Ray & Co. Bag and a Studded Floral headpiece to hold my braided top knot in place.

And of course I'm sharing all my favorites moments and must haves below, check them out:

The Fashion Bash was held at Venue One. It was a big, bright and beautiful modern space that fit the event perfectly.

From big bauble to tiny treasures the modern accessories by AndreaGems are perfect for that signature finish to any summer outfit. I especially loved this statement making silver and black collar necklace - I may have to head back to AndreaGems to snag this handmade piece!

Of course I had my own personal Russian slingin' shots at the event. Shots and Shopping - that's a no-brainer.

I also met the lovely Jessie from MiniPenny last night. I loved her gold collar necklace and perfectly placed tattoos - and now I'm obsessed with her blog!

And who doesn't love a good massage. After walking a few blocks to the Venue the BFF body buffer was my first stop, naturally. It buffs, exfoliates, massages and even removes hair. Yeah, this is going on my wish list stat.

I loved Alyssa's bright printed and pleated maxi dress and it's available at her boutique Comfort Me, along with several other summer favorites like floppy hats, easy dresses and signature accessories.
Handmade, eco-friendly and just plain cool JAKIMAC offers a modern jewelry line with a socially conscious concept. The leather wrapped rings are the perfect pop of color and the brass x quartz bullet necklace has shot me down into submission - just take my money now!

There was also some vintage jewelry straight from the runway. You don't know how hard this was to turn down. Well now that you've seen the goods, you probably do.

Kiwi's Boutique was full of day to night options like this cutout collared dress. Just throw on a blazer and flats for day and kick up your heels at night. And another bonus the owners were super helpful, knowledgeable and easy to talk to - I need to head out to their boutique ASAP.

And don't worry dudes, there were still some goodies for you! I loved these tie clips by JoJo and Sofia made from vintage bottoms, bottle caps and pins - they're so good even a girl could rock them.

Another successful event with my fellow blogger babes from CBN (so proud to be a member). I can't wait for the next one!

  1. Nice to meet you also! And that collar cut out dress at Kiwi's Boutique is the same one I was eyeballing. Great minds... :)
